here is my participation for 'trolls & bestioles 2021' with contests at the end of the expo (we'll see if I'm already selected ^^").
I wanted a design closer to the classical (folk) influences of trolls and fairies, but with my mania for tipping directly into dark fantasy, it may be less obvious at the end ^^ '(maybe too marked by the idea that the kentaro miura's work will no longer be there to give me my dose, coupled with the lack of barbecue with friends ^^ "who knows?)
anyway, it's been a long time since I was so caught up in a creation without fuss and with a more "free" brushwork return even if once again my level of involvement was quickly vampirized by my compulsive need to always detail more ^^'
[fairies are the best example, initially intended to be printed in large format on tarpaulin, compression especially on the internet loses a lot of what I would like to be able to show better often, details / textures / eastereggs]
well, voilà. I had a lot of fun to be drowned in this project, it did me good to feel this emulation again. So I hope you and the selection committee, and finaly the public of the exhibition will like it.
